UniOptions provides advice on the many pathways to university and makes this advice available, completely free of charge, to secondary students, parents, non-school leavers, careers professionals and anyone else who is interested. UniOptions helps students enter the university course of their choice and, unlike other sources of information on getting into university, the UniOptions website shows you all the uni options – not just the obvious ones.

Have a look around this site. It is full of free, independant information for you. There are a number of reasons why the information is valuable. They include:

• The traditional approach of students stepping straight into the university course that their Tertiary Entrance Ranking allows may not be the best step financially, educationally or personally. 

• Much of the information provided to people seeking to gain entry to a particular course or university is poor – universities do not recommend students enrol at competitor institutions, for example.

• The university sector has changed rapidly in recent years and the advice given by parents or people who attended university even just a few years ago is likely to be out of date.
